Artists who wish to display their art and craft poducts in the Art Gallery and Craft Shops, must first register as an artist on the Strokes of Genius web site.
Once registered, artists will be able to log in to the web site to submit information about their art and craft products.
Artists (painters) will be asked to submit descriptive information about their paintings as well as high quality digital photographs of the art work.
Craft workers will be asked to submit descriptive information about their craft products, the craft project/business they are associated with (if relevant) as well as high quality digital photographs of the craft products.
The Strokes of Genius organisers reserve the right to evaluate all arts and crafts submitted. All art work found not to be of an acceptable standard, will not be placed on the web site
Buyers will indicate their intent to purchase a specific art work by clicking on the Request to buy link for the relevant painting or craftwork, and subsequently submitting a request for the artist's contact details.
The contact details of the artist / craft business will be sent to the buyer via e-mail.
From this point on Shoprite carries no responsibility for any aspect of the transaction.
The artists will enter into negotiations with the buyer to sell the artwork and have it delivered to the buyer.
